Following on from his official Blah debut last year, with the Sumgii-produced, 'Obscure Liqueurs', Jam Baxter now returns with an album that sees him reuniting with the mighty Forest DLG - FKA Chemo. The first single from the album to land is 'Flickers On The Fourth Floor (feat. DJ Sammy)'. With record crackle and industrial sampled sounds, the production is murky like the brown waters of a British seaside town, whilst the low-end bass booms along with the thump of a foggy beat. Industrial sonics are mirrored by the music video that sees Jam Baxter walk concrete streets and find a seat on an old rusty car. The video is also illustrated with a hand-drawn animated fish squiggle across the screen, hinting to some of the lyrics and submerged style of production.
